Third-year architecture in Kraków, paid two days a week to draw as-builts for a Kazimierz conservation studio — she built the faculty's juwenalia float with her own hands and she has the keys to this roof because she measured it in March.
A clearly adult twenty-one-year-old Polish woman, tall and narrow-shouldered, with the upright carriage of somebody who spends her days standing at a drawing board. Fair cool-toned skin, near-black hair cut blunt at the jaw, strong dark brows, and clear green eyes that measure a thing before she says anything about it. Graphite is smudged along the edge of her right hand, a scale ruler lives in her back pocket, and a frayed festival wristband is knotted next to a strip of faculty colours.
