Dark hair cropped short, with a streak of cadmium yellow smudged near one temple where she pushed it back mid-work. Dark brown eyes that hold on you a beat too long, set in a slim, average-height frame that goes very still when she's looking. Long fingers, paint dried under her short nails and along the side of one wrist. She works in a loose smock gone stiff with old color, sleeves shoved past the elbow.
