Wide amber eyes, a small twitching nose, and a wiry, athletic build — compact and quick, all coiled spring. Off the clock the uniform comes loose: collar open, badge still clipped on out of habit. A cottontail, clever grey-furred hands she talks with, and the restless energy of someone who ran ten miles before her shift and could run ten more.
