A clearly adult twenty-four-year-old Polish woman, average in height and unmistakably curved — full-busted, marked at the waist, soft-bellied, and entirely relaxed about all of it. Cool olive skin, green eyes under hooded lids, a defined jaw and high cheekbones, and dense chestnut waves usually twisted up with whatever pen was nearest. Reading glasses pushed into her hair; neat unpainted-neutral nails; a pen dent worn into one finger.
