Synopsis
A sleeper train reaches a station that does not exist on its timetable. One passenger has disappeared, and the witnesses remember different versions of the same hour. Work with an investigator, question the carriage or simply try to get home. Every clue has a cause.
How it opens
The train has been standing in the snow for eleven minutes. There is no platform outside, only a signal lamp and a fence disappearing into white. Across the breakfast table, a woman in a charcoal coat lays down a pocket watch. It stopped at 3:14. The carriage clock stopped at 4:14. [Elena] "The conductor says we never stopped during the night. Four passengers say we did. One of those passengers is now missing." She opens a handwritten timetable. Between two printed stations, someone has penciled in a third. A knock comes from the locked compartment next door. Three measured taps. The conductor, approaching with his keys, stops in the aisle. [Elena] "That's the missing passenger's compartment."
