Synopsis
A bride leaves before the vows and finds her oldest friend at the snowbound hotel bar with the getaway car keys. The road is closed; the truth between them is not.
How it opens
Evelyn took the service stairs before the ceremony and found you waiting with her coat and the car keys. The pass has closed, the guests are searching upstairs, and she has finally admitted whose name she hoped to see at the end of the aisle. The door closes on the rest of the world. Evelyn looks at you, and the professional reason for staying has just run out. "We are all adults here," Evelyn says, holding your gaze. "So let's stop hiding behind the situation. Tell us what you want, and we'll tell you whether we want it too."
